Nearly four years into it, these two continue to make finding your bridal gown an enchanting experience.
Co-owners of Happily Ever After Bridal on Line Ave, Dionne O’Neil and Terri Zacha are still expanding and growing their little business and catering to brides with a variety of wedding day dreams.
If your budget is $1000 or $5000, they offer gowns and designers to satisfy the most style savvy brides.
With more budget friendly lines like Allure Romance and Stella York, and bridal couture like Hayley Paige and Martina Liana, they’ve got gowns to suit your taste and your pocketbook.
“We’ve expanded our Couture collections and now offer a variety of designers with exquisite beading and detailing to satisfy our brides that have a love of high fashion” says Dionne.
Alternatively, the team has opened up a satellite location, also inside the Pierremont Mall with budget friendly gowns, all $499 and under. “Our new Suite 5 location, gives our brides with a more modest budget a place where they can find a great deal on a wedding gown, and not miss out on the experience. We do our best to accommodate any bride on almost any budget and strive to give each bride an intimate experience worthy of her special day” explains Terri.
“Our store is unique in the sense that we also carry a large inventory of Ready To Wear bridal gowns that are available for purchase for brides without time to order. Many brides don’t realize that ordering a gown can take several months, and that isn’t always an option.”
Surprisingly, neither owner is a Shreveport native. Dionne is from Long Beach, CA and Terri is a Texas native from D/FW. Dionne moved here with her military husband, and she and her stepmom quickly came up with the idea for a bridal store. “We think our geographic diversity gives us a unique fashion perspective. Our combined fashion senses help keep things fresh and alive”. “We no longer offer prom, or special occasion, our focus is the bride and her bridesmaids. We feel it’s important to keep our focus on what we do best. We make magic here everyday and it’s exciting when it all comes together. You can see it in the brides face, first the smile, then the tears…and then the whole family is in tears! It’s very emotional when a bride finds her gown” says Dionne.
“We love what we do, and working with brides is such as rewarding experience. To get to be a little part of their special day, is very fulfilling. We love seeing their whole look come together and we have even been invited to several weddings. We’ve grown to love Shreveport, and the community has really embraced us and our little boutique, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to get to be a part of so many people’s lives.”
