Linda Biernacki, President of Fire Tech Systems, Inc. founded the company in 1990 with the main focus of providing
excellent customer service. Soon to be celebrating 25 years in business,
Linda has expanded our service area to include a new office in Monroe
and obtained licenses in six states: LA, TX, AR, OK, MS and AL. Fire
Tech Systems provides a valuable service offering life safety needs
through fire protection for commercial and industrial businesses as well
as residential homes. We have an outstanding record in designing,
installing, servicing and inspecting a wide array of fire protection
systems which include fire alarms, extinguishers, suppression systems,
fire sprinklers and fire pumps. The company is federally certifi ed as a
WOSB, Woman Owned Small Business by the U.S. Women’s Chamber of
Commerce and as a WBE, Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s
Business Enterprise National Council.
Linda
has a strong commitment of giving back to the community. She is a
community partner with The Cyber Innovation Center, the I-49 North
Coalition, Sci-Port Discovery Center, LSUS Foundation, Junior
Achievement of N. LA, Sheriff’s Safety Town, Louisiana Economic
Development, the Minority Supplier
Institute and past president of The Committee of One Hundred. She has
also been appointed by Lt. General Seve Wilson, AFGSC Commander to serve
as a member of the Civic Leader Program.
In
2014, Linda received the Shreveport Chamber’s Small Business Award for
her continued hard-work and dedication to the growth and prosperity in
Northwest Louisiana. Linda will also receive the Business of the Year
Award at the Minority Business Opportunity Awards in April, 2015 for
creating opportunities for other minority owned businesses and having a
strong philanthropic commitment to the community. She also encourages
young women to pursue careers in the construction field, to be active in
community projects and to attain engineering degrees. Linda helps
facilitate this through a “Fire Tech Systems Scholarship Program” which
is offered annually to ambitious and aspiring young ladies.
