Internal Medicine Associates

Dr. Maurie Patterson of Internal Medicine Associates in Shreveport is originally from Carthage, Texas, but has been living in Shreveport since 1979. She is a graduate of the LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport, and completed her residency at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has practiced for 18 years. “I enjoy a long term relationship with my patients,” Patterson said.

Patterson looks for a challenge when it comes to internal medicine.

“My favorite part of being a physician is putting together the pieces of a puzzle and making a diagnosis. I enjoy being an everyday part of my patient’s lives,” she said.

During her career, she has had a great team guiding her along the way. “I am very appreciative of all my teachers and professors at LSU Shreveport and Greater Baltimore,” she said.
