CHORAL MUSIC | Dedicated young vocalists One of the finest musical ensembles in the country performs Sunday, April 24, at 2 p.m., in Illinois College’s Rammelkamp Chapel. The American Boychoir is comprised of a diverse mix of boys in grades 4-8 from the American Boychoir School in Princeton, New Jersey. The choir performs regularly with world-class orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, The Philadelphia Orchestra and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The group and its soloists are in high demand; they have performed live with pop greats such as Beyonce and Sir Paul McCartney, as well as for every sitting U.S. president since John F. Kennedy. The boys maintain a rigorous schedule; their 2015-2016 season included more than 100 solo performances, four national tours plus international releases of the movie Boychoir and more. Tickets for The American Boychoir are $15. For more information, visit http://americanboychoir.org. See also
