Indulge your excitement for the 25 th Annual Molly Schlich Independent and International Film Series by attending a popcorn and fun-filled preview party at the Springfield Art Association on Wednesday, Jan. 6, at 7 p.m. The party offers attendees their first opportunity to purchase 2016 film series passes ($45 a piece) and view trailers and Oscar-nominated short films. The Molly Schlich Independent and International Film Series showcases some of the best independent and international films from the previous year that did not show in Springfield. This year’s featured films are Human Capital, Phoenix, Meet the Patels, Labryinth of Lies, Second Mother, The Wonders, Taxi and Salt of the Earth. Films will be shown on Sundays and Tuesdays during January and February. Proceeds from the annual film series benefit the SAA’s Michael Victor II Art Library.
