Dr. Rodney Armand offers a range of obstetric and gynecologic services at Women’s Health Associates, affiliated with Willis-Knighton Bossier.

The military brought Dr. Armand to Bossier City in 1978 when his father was transferred to Barksdale Airforce Base. He was valedictorian at Bossier High School, graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana and earned his medical degree from LSU Health Shreveport. After retiring from the U.S. Navy in 2012, Dr. Armand was able to bring his own family back to the area he considers home, Shreveport-Bossier.

During his 21-year military career, Dr. Armand served in the submarine service and was deployed to Kuwait in 2010, part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Women’s Health Associates offers minimally invasive procedures, including the Da Vinci robot, 4-D ultrasounds and laser hair removal. In addition to seeing technology help clinically, Dr. Armand enjoys creating relationships with his patients.
