Brown Builders has been named North American Volume Builder of the Year for 2014, the highest sales award given by Butler Manufacturing, the world leader in building solutions and the largest provider of metal building construction materials.

“Brown Builders wants to thank our Louisiana commercial construction partners who helped us sell more than 1,000,000 square feet of Butler pre-engineered metal buildings – more than any other builder in North America – to make earning this prestigious award possible,” Kristen Brown, president of Brown Builders, said. “There were many who helped to make this award possible including Benteler Steel Tube at the Caddo/ Bossier Port, Louisiana Caterpillar throughout Louisiana, and others who have allowed us to use design and build Butler pre-engineered metal building for their construction since 1974.”

Wayne Brown, founder and CEO of Brown Builders, along with Kristen and Vice President Mike Walker received the top Butler award from Tom Gilligan, president of Butler Manufacturing, and Harry Yeatman, vice president of sales and strategy during the Butler Manufacturing annual sales meeting in Nashville, Tenn.

“What is most important about this prestigious award is that Brown Builders is a Louisiana company using Louisiana people to provide building solutions and to take care of the construction needs of large projects that might otherwise go to out-of-state companies,” Wayne said.
