Royalty crowned, debs take bows

Grand Carnival: A Night in Venice, was the theme for the 68th Holiday In Dixie Cotillion. George Patton Fritze reigned as Rex LXVIII, and Shelby Elizabeth Easterwood wore the crown as Regina LXVIII. Upper Crust Catering put out a fab spread at the historic Municipal Auditorium while Limelight from Dallas provided the music that kept the crowd moving and dancing until the wee hours. Others in the royal court included Princesses Sarah Katherine Turner and Mary Elizabeth Turner, and the princes included John Franci Keene and Christian Houston Hall.
