Twelve compete to raise funds for Renesting Project

The sixth annual Nest Fest featured “Chairished” beginnings Aug. 1 at the Bossier Civic Center.

Decorated chairs were the centerpieces of the tables where people enjoyed food by Good Eats and listened to Johnny Earthquake and the Moondogs while taking a break from bidding on auction items. Twelve competed in a design competition judged by three professionals in the design industry. The event raises funds for the Renesting Project in memory of Lauren Colvin.
