MARK GARTH has been hired as the new chief financial officer and treasurer for Darigold, Inc., effective Nov. 27, 2018.

Garth brings significant food and beverage industry experience to his new post, most recently serving as CFO for Country Fresh Holdings, LLC. He also was CFO and Treasurer at Perdue Farms and Wells’ Dairy. Garth held senior financial roles at Maytag and Plexus Corp.

BRIAN SIKES has been tapped to lead the global salt and protein businesses at Cargill, succeeding TODD HALL, who will retire after 36 years with the company. Sikes began his career at Cargill in 1991. Most recently, he led transformation of the company’s North American protein business. Sikes also led the development of Cargill’s new North American protein headquarters in Wichita, KS, which will host a grand opening on Dec. 6, 2018. Under his direction, the headquarters is designed to attract new talent to the company and strengthen collaboratin between customers and Cargill’s Food Innovation Center and culinary chefs, also based in Wichita.

WHITNEY ATKINS has been named vice president of marketing at the International Dairy Deli Bakery Association (IDDBA), effective Nov. 27, 2018. The majority of Atkins’ career has been with Kroger Delta Marketing in Memphis, TN, where she served as marketing manager, loyalty analyst, and most recently customer communications and marketing specialist. While at Kroger, she worked as a liaison for many teams to develop programs and selling initiatives for 100 grocery and pharmacy locations.

Lifeway Foods, Inc. has appointed AMY FELDMAN as its senior executive vice president of sales. Feldman previously held the top executive sales position for Lifeway from 2009-11. She returns to the company after serving in senior sales executive positions for KeHE, one of the largest specialty distributors in the US, and natural food brand Enjoy Life Foods. Feldman has spent over 20 years in the food industry building business, brands, and teams, specifically within the fresh and natural foods segment. She began her career at Sara Lee, and most served as executive vice president of sales at Next Phase Enterprises.
