School Yard For Everyone Students and faculty at Boston International Newcomers Academy, a Boston Public School, recently celebrated the ribbon cutting of its “School Yard For Everyone,” which was designed by students to create a welcoming space for the community and provide resources for students and families in need. The school’s student body represents students from over 60 countries speaking 16 different languages. As part of this transformation, Stop & Shop and Little Leaf Farms, a Devens, Mass. based greenhouse-grown lettuce brand, donated a new outdoor community garden to the school, where students will grow their choice of culturally relevant vegetables such as cilantro, Haitian lalo, and eggplant.
