Local artist Felicia Olin’s recent acrylics and mixed media pieces, including the work above titled, Love and Poetry #4, are on exhibit and for sale through August at the Robert Morris Gallery. Using materials or ideas that have grabbed her attention, such as old books or prints, 1800s fashion, even coffee as paint, Olin’s work is whimsical, interesting and fun. Think of Alice-in-Wonderland meets Tim Burton, with a mixture of Kahlo, Rivera and Dali’s beauty and thought-provoking symbolism. The public is also invited Thursday, July 26 from 5-7 p.m. to the opening reception. See also
