On Thursday, July 26, join Illinois Times, the Springfield Art Association’s SAA Collective and other sponsors in congratulating the adult, youth and teenage winners of the 2018 Images of Illinois photography contest during the exhibition’s closing reception from 5–7 p.m. at the SAA Collective Gallery, located in the Hoogland Center for the Arts at 420 S. Sixth St. The evening will include an awards ceremony at 6 p.m. plus light refreshments. In addition to the Images of Illinois exhibition, the gallery will also feature new artworks by SAA Collective member artists as well as work by emerging artists Michael Boehl, Kate Ridge, Jen Santarelli and Kristin Walker on display in the BACKdoor Gallery. The Images of Illinois exhibition will be on display during SAA Collective Gallery hours through July 28.
