Hundreds of people turned out for the inaugural Best Of Springfi eld party at the BOS Center on Thursday, Oct. 26. It was 1985 all over again, and there were many celebrity sightings, including Flavor Flav and his crew, Prince, MC Lyte, the Blues Brothers, Slash, Brett Michaels, and not just one, but two, MC Hammers. There was also plenty of neon, leg warmers, and big hair! People danced to music from Fun DMC and Brat Pack and sampled food, beverages and even chair massages from 22 different exhibitors. There was a photo booth, a hula hoop performer and a juggler/acrobat to keep people entertained. Between the costume and dance contest lots of prizes were given away, and people who turned in their completed punch cards were eligible to win door prizes.
