BAND SPOTLIGHT | Dan Hubbard

Known to Springfield fans as a headline performer at SOHO festival pasts, as well as other venues with his band The Humadors, Dan Hubbard is on a brand new adventure and invites you to come along. Now playing as a solo artist, in 2015 Hubbard recorded an album of a lifetime with Ken Coomer (founding member of Wilco and Uncle Tupelo) set to be released on Feb. 5. From a correspondence with producer Ryan Ulyate (Tom Petty), Dan deepened his songwriting focus then headed for Nashville to record his new batch of songs with Coomer last year. The seasoned musician/ drummer enrolled a star-studded group of Nashville cats to flesh out the songs, lending a viable vision to Hubbard’s set of intense and alluring songs. Now he’s out on the road with an incredible tour to expose his music over the next few months, including stops at Schuba’s in Chicago and Off Broadway in St. Louis, plus shows throughout the country at some of the best clubs out there.
