ART | Reflections on creative spaces

Stop by The Pharmacy Gallery and Art Space for a peek at their current gallery show, Neo-Surrealism: Third Eye Exhibit. The show features a variety of work from Pharmacy member artists including Wendy Allen, Bill Crook, Jim Edgecomb, Felicia Olin, Diane Schleyhahn, Jeff Williams and more, plus a contemporary installation by Peoria-based installation artist Jessica Bingham. Jessica is a key member of the arts scene in Peoria. She is director and co-founder of Project 1612, an independently run creative space and residency for artists. Jessica is also a member of the Backspace Collective artists’ collective. Her exhibition is a response to the concept of artist studios, gallery space and exhibition spaces. Jessica uses everyday objects, arranged in a most unusual way, to create a display environment that links to and tells stories from her past.
