See some of the Midwest’s top comedians this Saturday during the Best of the Midwest Comedy Showcase. The show features up-and-coming comedians from central Illinois, Chicago and St. Louis. Located just 45 minutes from Springfield, Mason City Limits Comedy Club offers a full bar and routinely hosts top comedians from Comedy Central, “The Tonight Show,” “Late Night with Dave Letterman,” HBO, Conan, “The Bob and Tom Show” and more.

Owner Chris Spreyer has been in the comedy business since 1989, performing to audiences all across the United States for 13 years, eventually returning to his hometown to open the Mason City Limits Comedy Club in 2002. Tickets for Saturday’s show are $6 when purchased online in advance, or $5 cash at the door.
