AUDITIONS | Attention area thespians

If you dream of seeing your name in lights, consider auditioning for a role in the 2015 season at New Salem’s Theatre in the Park. Open auditions for children will occur at 9 a.m., and open auditions for adults will occur at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 28, at Western Oaks Baptist Church. Call backs, if needed, will be from 2-4 p.m. that afternoon. Saturday’s auditions are for the first two plays of TIP’s 2015 season, Grace Among the Leavings, which will run May 23-25, and Jane Eyre: The Musical, which will run August 14-16 and 20-22. Auditions for the last two plays of the season, Grease and Children of Eden, will occur on Saturday, Apr. 11.
