SUMMER FOOD School’s out for summer, and that means kids from low-income households across the city may not get enough to eat. But thanks to federal aid, public schools around the nation can offer summer food programs to ensure kids stay nourished during the summer months. Six Springfi eld public schools will host breakfast and lunch this summer. Kids eat free, while adults can eat breakfast for $2 and lunch for $3.50. See below for a schedule For more information.
