CAP In an election year, nothing is more CITY important to a potential voter than getting to the root of the issues and understanding where a candidate stands on those issues.

Susan Nightingale, president and creator of politiview.com, says that information on the Internet for potential voters is unorganized and not placed in a context that helps voters to make tough political decisions.

“Being a voter today is like being in a rowboat, in the middle of the ocean, with all that water and nothing to drink,” says Nightingale.

Nightingale and her 10-person team, who run and maintain the website from their homes, have created and opened for business (Monday, Jan. 9) politiview.com, a nonpartisan real-time video marketplace for political candidates, in an attempt to give voters the opportunity to understand and interact with potential candidates.

The video marketplace allows for voters to watch and understand what candidates from different political affiliations stand for and thus allows the voter to make a more informed decision when casting their vote.

Politiview.com, a Springfield-based company, accepts video content from candidates, political parties, special issue groups and ballot measure organizations through a subscription service, while also offering a chance for subscribers to upload a gallery of up to 20 political videos at a time, as well as five hyperlinked addresses. The subscription service is available to anyone, both candidates and voters.

For more information, plus a breakdown of the finances involved in the subscription service, visit www.politiview.com.
