You’ll be transported to 1920’s Paris by jazz and Brazilian-inspired scores by Milhaud, brought to life by Grambling’s Orchesis FREE Company. Then, we’ll celebrate the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth with his lively Symphony No 7, dubbed “The Apotheosis of the FREE.”

“The Piano Lesson” is a Pulitzer Prize winning play (1990) by American playwright August Wilson. The fourth play in Wilson’s The Pittsburgh Cycle, this story plays with the various answers regarding the possibility of “acquiring a sense of self-worth by denying one’s past.” Parental guidance suggested.
