Allison Borel, LPC, owner of Elated Counseling Services, LLC, loves helping other women through her flourishing business. Located at 2020 East 70th, Suite 201 in Shreveport, Elated Counseling Services LLC offers individual counseling, family counseling, couples counseling and a range of other mental health services such as training, classes, group and various speaking engagements. They're open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Elated Counseling Services, LLC also offers evening and weekend appointments for their client's convenience. "We know our clients are busy people, so we try to be accommodating," Borel said.
"Elated Counseling Services, LLC is the only office that offers a TFCBT (Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) certified therapist in North Louisiana, a Certified Art therapist, a marriage and family therapist and an EMDR therapist, among other specialties with our other clinicians," Borel said. "We offer an office that feels like home, and our staff pride ourselves in making the therapy experience comforting."
Over the next several years, Borel hopes to see the business grow. But more than that, she hopes to make a real change in the community at large. "We hope over the next several years to have dampened the stigma of 'mental health' and have made it more approachable to discuss, seek treatment and offer hope to others," Borel said.
