Support groups at Willis-Knighton are provided at no cost to the patients. Reservations are required. CANCER Willis-Knighton Cancer Center, 2600 Kings Highway Lunch is provided for all noon meetings.

General Cancer Support Group Tuesdays and Thursdays, Noon 4th Floor Conference Room This support group helps patients and their loved ones discuss the emotional challenges and other concerns often faced by patients with cancer.

Look Good, Feel Better Monday, May 1, 11:30 a.m. 4th Floor Conference Room This two hour, hands-on workshop includes a 12-step skin care/make-up application lesson, demonstration of nail techniques and options for dealing wiith hair loss. Patients also use and take home complimentary cosmetic kits in their appropriate skin tones with helpful instruction booklets.

Coping With…Cancer: Pathology 101 Wednesday, May 10, Noon 2nd Floor Conference Room This workshop will help patients and their caregivers find new ways to cope with cancer.

Painting for a Cure Friday, May 19, 10 a.m. 4th floor – Social Services Patients are provided free painting instruction in a fun atmosphere. Friends and family may also paint for a $25 fee. Pay in advance by calling (318) 212-8225
