•Kris Holland, a local events planner with a record of impressing clients with her unique flair and organizational skills, has launched her new business, Events by Kris Holland. The business will specialize in weddings and private events. Kris brings years of event planning experience to the table: She has been the events and conferences coordinator at Centenary College for the past three years and worked at the prestigious Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art as an event planner for six years. At Crystal Bridges, Holland worked with multiple corporate clients such as GE, Collective Bias
and Wal-Mart to produce dinner events, cocktail parties and training
seminars. Holland will be working with local entrepreneur Katy Larsen as

Cannon has joined LSU Shreveport as the new vice chancellor of business
affairs and chief financial officer. Cannon is a CPA with 20-plus years
of progressive experience in tax, auditing and financial reporting with
repeated success in helping organizations achieve sound financial
business practices and accelerate company growth.
Cannon
previously served as the CFO of Moonbot Studios, where she assessed
organizational performance and assisted with developing the company’s
long-term strategy.
•Mike
Mosura has joined the YMCA staff as executive director of the BHP
Billiton YMCA. Mosura’s experience revolves around the health of the
community and serving its residents. In his previous role as parks and
recreation supervisor for the City of Bossier and in the many years of
owning and operating local fitness facilities, he brings over 20 years
of facility management and communications experience to this new
position. Mosura was also instrumental in both marketing and community
relations aspects of his previous positions, which will be invaluable as
the YMCA invites the community to experience the benefits of this new facility.
Mosura
has also served as a member of the Bossier Parish School Board for over
13 years. He has grown to know our Northwest Louisiana community well
in his service through numerous organizations over the years including
United Way of Northwest Louisiana - board of directors, Louisiana State
University – alumni board of directors and First Priority - board of
