David Newell, general manager and attorney for Southern Land and Title, LLC, lives for challenges. From running for office against an incumbent district attorney to serving as the mayor of Homer to facing life-and-death cases in the courtroom, he uses his passion to persevere.

Newell and his family moved to Shreveport-Bossier in 2008 from Claiborne Parish. Newell enjoys coaching BPAR basketball, lake days and crawfish boils in SBC.
