Alexander & Company Salon Spa is making Shreveport-Bossier a little more beautiful, one salon experience at a time. John Morell, owner of Alexander & Company Salon-Spa, started the business in 1993 and has a vast range of experience, having done hair for Editorial and Runway, and having trained at Toni & Guy, Vidal Sassoon and the L’Oreal Color Institute.

“What I love most about my job is making my guest as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside,” said Morell, a Shreveport native. “There’s nothing better than seeing them smile and feel glamorous.”

“After extensive consultation, our stylists will create signature styles and colors that fit the look and lifestyle of each individual client,” said Morell. “We offer precision cuts, multi-dimensional coloring, makeup services and elegant evening looks.

And for him, going to work every day is never truly considered work. “I can’t believe that after twenty-five years in the business, I still absolutely love what I do,” said Morell. “I try to carry this enthusiasm to all of my staff and guests.”
