Eldorado invests close to $1 million in renovations
Improvements and renovations were made to Eldorado to “offer the guests their best experience.”
Eldorado Resort Casino Shreveport spent close to $1 million in improvements and renovations across the property, including $300,000 to completely redesign Celebrity Lounge on the first floor pavilion. Other remodeling took place in Sportsman’s Paradise Café, The Vintage, hotel rooms and on the casino floor.
General Manager Mike Whitemaine said these projects keep Eldorado fresh and interesting in the market.
“Eldorado has consistently put money back into our property since we opened in Shreveport-Bossier. We invest in capital projects every year, whether it is completely renovating our hotel rooms, adding Allure Ultra Lounge, or creating the Ambassador Room. The Carano family takes pride in offering the best experience possible for our guests, and we do that in part by continually improving our beautiful property.”
Celebrity Lounge, Eldorado’s nightclub and live music showroom, received floor-to-ceiling upgrades, with the two-month construction last month. The redesign in rich, warm tones includes new carpet, chairs, tables, ottomans and banquette seating around the perimeter of the Lounge.
Celebrity added an additional reserved VIP area, creating two VIP spaces with bottle service perfect for special occasions and large groups. The bar was updated with a new marble bar top, and a new sound system has been installed. Finally, all-new lighting was created throughout, including the addition of two stunning LED walls, echoing the ambiance of Allure Ultra Lounge upstairs.
Eldorado also renovated Sportsman’s Paradise Café, Eldorado’s 24-hour Louisiana-themed restaurant. Sportsman’s received new chairs, carpet, booth upholstery and silk flower arrangements. Future
renovations will include the addition of an Asian noodle bar.
Eldorado’s Asian noodle bar will be located inside Sportsman’s Paradise Café. It will feature an extensive menu of Vietnamese favorites.
In addition to these remodels, Eldorado invested in improvements throughout the property. A second hotel check-in area was added on the second floor of the hotel pavilion, connected by the skywalk to the revitalized President’s Parking area.
Carpet was replaced in the hotel rooms. The Vintage Steakhouse was fitted with new ledges, lighting, and chair upholstery. All gaming chairs on the casino’s first floor were replaced. Other areas with include LaSpa, the Poker Room, and back-of-house kitchens. For more information, go to eldoradoshreveport.com.
