Look Good, Feel Better
Conducted by the American Cancer Society and Cosmetologists Monday, May 6, 11:30 a.m. A two-hour, hands-on workshop, including a 12-step skin care/make-up application lesson, demonstration of options for dealing with hair loss and nail care techniques. Participants receive complimentary cosmetic kits and instruction booklets.
Cancer Pain & Fatigue Educational Group
Conducted by Jennifer Edwards, RN Wednesday, May 8, 12 noon A group that provides cancer patients and their loved ones resources and information on pain and fatigue during and after treatment. Patients and caregivers also discuss their concerns about pain and fatigue with healthcare professionals.
Woman to Woman: Caring for your Physical, Emotional and Spiritual Needs
Wednesday, May 15, 12 noon An educational program to give female cancer patients information on issues unique to their treatments and side effects. Patients will also have the opportunity discuss their concern with different healthcare providers.
