Guests get into full swing of things

In honor of Scarlett Passions: Bellocq’s Storyville, a “racy” Norton Art Gallery exhibit, a party was thrown to celebrate a rip-roaring time of scandal, glamour and risky business straight out of the 1920s. Held on Oct. 22. in the museum’s basement speakeasy, The Marvelous Misfits performed three vaudeville variety shows featuring magic, juggling and burlesque. Guests sipped an illicit cocktail mixed directly from an authentic Chicago recipe. Guests came in Roaring 20s attire.
