Signature Chef auction and gala raises “fun”

Purple was the color of the evening as guests who arrived at the Horseshoe Riverdome on Nov. 1 were ushered into the event by Miss Louisiana Collegiate Brook Saulsbury and Miss Black Caddo Parish Kenya Ross for the March of Dimes Signature Chef auction and gala. Chefs were in attendance from area venues ranging from the casinos to fine dining establishments to local colleges, offering their delicacies to taste. As attendeeds hobnobbed with television and political personalities, live music accompanied the fine dining. A gorgeous ice sculpture with the March of Dimes logo provided a captivating centerpiece that scattered the glow of purple lights throughout the Riverdome.
