Vibrant blooms to brighten your life When considering the first of our layouts to feature floral arrangements, we knew there was an abundance of riches. There are many talented floral designers and artists in our area, and we will share more of their design work in future editions – weddings, parties, events or just everyday arrangements you can create from your own garden. Designers, reach out and share your ideas with us at editor@theforumnews.com. For our inaugural floral tribute we enlisted the keen design eye of Kyle Loyd, managing partner for The Colony House of Flowers. We asked for something to represent the seasonal change that wouldn’t be the umbers and golds of old. We knew Loyd’s designs would be au currant and as you can see, they are fresh and beautiful – and representative of this time of year. Kyle created three looks for us featuring the massing of like blooms. The style, he says, is reflective of how flowers grow in groupings and masses in gardens and offer a lush, bountiful display. Lilies, hydrangeas, tulips, roses, sunflowers and stock are all fabulous in these beautiful designs, but the ebullient and gorgeous Proteas brings high-style and takes center stage from all angles. We think Kyle did an outstanding job of bringing freshness to fall ... Both fragrant and beautiful, the arrangements are stunning. Bravo!
