Philadelphia Center raises funds

Philadelphia Center’s annual fund-raiser, themed “Fashion, Music, Art: Walking the Runway for the Cure,” was a frolicking good time. The July event held at Sam’s Town Casino featured 30 models strutting the catwalk to support the prevention and treatment of HIV, AIDS and STDs. Featured performer Chi Chi DeVayne, who appeared on season eight of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” television show, rocked the stage for her hometown. The event also featured several raffle items and an extensive silent auction of art and other goodies.
