Justinian XXIII crowns royalty

The Krewe of Justinian celebrated the coronation of its 2017 Royal Court, Justinian XXIII, on Aug. 12 at 610 Spring with this year’s theme, “Viva la R’evolution.” Krewe members and their guests and visiting krewe royals were greeted at the entrance with a custom mural of Versailles and were led into the traditional reception hosted by the Justinian Carnival Court. The Justinian XXIII court, presented by past Justinian Capt. Kenny Haines, was led by Capt. John Bokenfohr and was followed by King Brady O’Callahan, Queen Melanie Johnson, duchesses Natalie Howell and Allie Aiello, dukes Weber Hill and Mark Manno, princess Gabrielle Cox and prince Kip Haines.
