Tejas Kitchen debuts with delicious dining experience Shreveport-Bossier’s newest local pub and eatery, Tejas Kitchen Bar Patio, hosted their grand opening in mid-June. Located at the corner of Line Avenue and Pierremont Road in South Highlands, owner and chef Weston McElwee has created a refreshing and unpretentious – but very delicious! – dining experience. Lunch specials include chicken fried steak, brisket cheese steak sandwich and Navajo tacos. The dinner menu features appetizers like truffle chicken wings, smoked salmon dip and fry bread.
