Michelle Moore has turned a passion for designer items into a boutique in Shreveport that caters to those who share her passion - and on a budget to boot. Her store, Fancy Pantz and Moore sells all types of high-end resale clothing and accessory items. She has a wide selection of purses from such in demand names as Louis Vuitton, Coach, Prada, Michael Kors and a fashionsitas dream collection of Miss Me and Rock Revival jeans. Sometimes, you just know when an idea is right, and for Moore, this was one of those times. “I just jumped in and did it. I always had the business drive. I was the general manager of a gym by the time I was 22. I started working there when I was 16 - it was my first job - and worked my way from the bottom to the top,” she said. After taking 2 1/2 years off to stay home with her baby, she decided it was time to go back to work. “During my time off, I bought high end purses and sold them on eBay - that was my fun money! And it just branched off from there...people started bringing me other things to sell - it just went nuts. It took over my formal dining room, and that’s when my husband and I decided it was time to open my own shop,” she said. All of the items are authentic and chosen by Moore.
