Verona, WI—The Wisconsin Specialty Cheese Institute (WSCI) will hold its “golden” 16th annual golf outing here June 16 at University Ridge Golf Course.

The event kicks off at 12:30 p.m. and will feature various hole challenges, raffles, door prizes and awards. WSCI’s Paul McShane Traveling Trophy will be presented to the first place team, and the event wraps up with a tailgate cookout.

“The golf outing is a highlight of the year for WSCI members and sponsors,” said WSCI president Beth Crave. “This year, the stars are aligned for some pretty lucky golfing, with it being our 16th annual event on June 16, 2016.”

Cost to attend is $150 per golfer, and includes greens fees, golf cart, practice range balls, evening awards presentation and cookout.

Non-golfers are also welcome to attend the festivities for a $25 fee.

A number of sponsorships are also available on a first-come, firstserved basis. Door prize donations are also welcome. The registration deadline is June 2, and registration forms are available on www.wispecialtycheese.org.
