Electronic bids for MBTA Contract No. B22CN02, REPAIR/REHABILITATION OF EAST CAMBRIDGE (LECHMERE) VIADUCT, BOSTON & CAMBRIDGE MA, (CLASS 1 – GENERAL TRANSIT CONSTRUCTION, $30,000,000 AND CLASS 4B – CONCRETE SUPERSTRUCTURE, $30,000,000 AND PROJECT VALUE - $50,032,750, can be submitted at www.bidx.com until two o’clock (2:00 p.m.) November 26, 2019. Immediately thereafter, in a designated room, the Bids will be opened and read publicly.

Work in general consist of repair and rehabilitation of the East Cambridge (Lechmere) Viaduct carrying the MBTA Green line from Science Park Station to Charlestown Avenue in Boston and Cambridge, MA. The viaduct includes 12 spans over Nashua Street, the Charles River, Museum Way and Charlestown Avenue. Work includes replacement of the track and bridge superstructure and safety walks; repair and rehabilitation of the concrete floorbeams, arches and piers; strengthening the arch spans with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) fiber wrap; steel strengthening and repairs of the Bascule Span over the Charles River; Overhead Catenary System replacement; and signal replacement.

Bidders attention is directed to Appendix 1, Notice of Requirement for Affirmative Action to Insure Equal Employment Opportunity; and to Appendix 2, Supplemental Equal Employment Opportunity, Anti-Discrimination, and Affirmative Action Program in the specifications. Child Nutrition Program – PUBLIC NOTICE

Brooke Charter Schools will continue its policy to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch and Breakfast program for the 2019-2020 school year for all Brooke Schools. Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reducedprice, and paid student meals. This new approach reduces the burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.

Some schools participate in the After School Snack Program and are be provided a free snack in the afternoon.

Request for Proposal (RFP) ANNOUNCEMENT Ryan White HIV Services

The Boston Public Health Commission (BPHC), Bureau of Infectious Disease, Ryan White Services Division seeks proposals to serve people living with HIV (PLWH) within the Boston Eligible Metropolitan Area (EMA) by providing: 1) Other Professional Services (i.e. legal services for PLWH) and the following Minority AIDs Initiative (MAI) Services 2) Other Professional Services (legal services for PLWH with focus on serving racial and ethnic minorities), 3) Linguistic Services, 4) Medical Case Management, 5) Non-Medical Case Management, 6) Psychosocial Support, 7) Emergency Financial Assistance. All MAI services need to focus on reducing the disproportionate impact of HIV/AIDS on racial and ethnic minority populations.

The goals of these services are to (1) support individuals living with HIV in their efforts to enter and remain in primary health care and health-related support services and (2) help improve the clinical health outcomes and quality of life of PLWH.

This RFP process is open to all applicants within the Boston EMA. The Massachusetts portion of the EMA consists of Suffolk, Norfolk, Bristol, Essex, Middlesex, Plymouth and Worcester counties in Massachusetts; the New Hampshire portion of the EMA consists of Hillsborough, Rockingham, and Strafford counties. To be eligible to receive Ryan White Part A funds, an applicant must be a certified Non-profit 501 (c) (3), or a public entity, be located within the ten counties of the Boston EMA, and be proposing to provide services to people living with HIV in the EMA.

The RFP will be released at 12:00 noon on Monday November 18, 2019. On the release date, the RFP and all accompanying documents will be made available for download on the BPHC website, www.bphc.org/rfp. In addition, a hard copy of the RFP may be obtained at the Boston Public Health Commission, 1010 Massachusetts Ave, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02118. It will not be mailed to any applicant.

Completed proposals must be submitted 12:00 noon on Friday December 20, 2019. There are no exceptions to this deadline. Instructions for submission will be included in the posted RFP documentation.
