AZ COWBOY CHRISTMAS

While a majority of the summer NTR events take place further north, Arizona is not forgotten. Ropers came in droves to summer events despite numerous changes in dates and locations. Ten Scott Thomas Saddles were awarded in the #8.5 Saddle Up at Cowboy Christmas in Payson. Dillon Cole Gonzalez and Brennan Gonzalez took top honors turning in a time of 25.28 on 3 head to pocket $5,000 and saddles. MEGABUCKS IN TEXAS

CK Productions & Cattle brought the NTR Texas Spring Championships to the Somervell County Expo Center in Glen Rose, Texas, on May 30. Left: Jonathan Stringfellow and Tony Lang picked up $2,220 in the #9.5 Megabucks roping four steers in 47 seconds flat. The win also earned them discounted qualification positions into the NTR National Finals VII in Wickenburg, Arizona, March 1-6, 2021.

Above: Mel Miller and Ryan Davis roped two steers in 15.31 seconds to take home the Scott Thomas trophy saddles along with $1,920 in the #7 2-Steer Roping.
