TRUE ROMAN

DAM:    ROMAN JOSIE CODY

DOLLIE CODY

Notes: “Rex” is a 12-year-old, 15.3 hh 1,350 lb., proven and very athletic head horse. Originally trained as a reiner and has NRHA earnings. Rex began his roping career as a  6-year-old and has excelled ever since. He would best fit a #5 and up. He is QUICK—you never get out run. Rex has tons of rate, scores excellent and is lat out of the box. He has been to the biggest of venues and never gets rattled. Announcers, fireworks, loud music, strobe lights—he has seen it all. He won two WSTR in 2014 and went to the Finals in Vegas. Placed at the AVI roping and qualified for the NTR Finals last year. He needs a good horseman on his back—he has a light mouth, responds quickly to leg ques and has an intensiveness about him that is intimidating to beginners. This horse is broke, broke, broke. Rides the same at home as at any arena or coliseum. Never takes his ears off the cattle and is super smooth in his break from the box and his run. This truly is a “big time” head horse.
