Free Document ‘Shred’ Event Saturday, May 9 10am-1pm Illinois Times East parking lot 1320 S. State Street Free

With the flood of ID and credit card number thefts, there is no better way to protect yourself than by shredding your documents containing sensitive information. But what do you do if you do not own a shredding machine, your equipment cannot handle boxes of papers or you’ve put off the task so long you have a small warehouse of material. This Saturday morning, Cintas Corporation comes to your aid. They will offer free document shredding for individuals and businesses, up to ten boxes per person.

There is no need to remove staples, rubber bands or clips. The event is co-sponsored by the MacArthur Boulevard Business Association and the Illinois Times.
