Feast your eyes on the Fourth of July night sky as it fills with explosions of color and light. The Capital City Bicentennial Celebration concludes with fireworks above the Capitol building at 9:30 p.m. simulcast to music on radio station ABE 93.9. Knight’s Action Park puts on its display of sky art, called Fireworks Extravaganza, at 9:30 p.m. The Lake Springfield Marina Rocks the Dock, launching fireworks from barges over the lake. Another fireworks attraction at the lake bursts forth at the Disabled American Veterans Lake Area 25 as part of their celebration. Chatham rockets its display at the South Community Park, while Loami and Pleasant Plains set off their own flashes. And Rochester plans its explosive tribute, Sparks in the Park, as part of its two-day Fourth of July festival.
