Learn about the benefits of eating food grown fresh and local at the Slow Food Film Festival.

The film festival is sponsored by Slow Food Springfield, The University of Illinois Extension and the Illinois State Museum. The three organizations came up with the idea for a slow food film festival as a way to educate the public about current food systems and food in different cultures. The films in the festival explore everything from the cost of food to the future of food. See schedule below:
