The U of I Extension Unit’s Garden Tour is a ripe place to get ideas on how to improve your landscape while receiving advice and tips on plantings from Master Gardeners. This self-guided tour takes you into area home gardens, Washington Park Botanical Garden’s rain garden, Lincoln Home Visitors Center’s heirloom garden and the Extension office garden. Master gardeners will also present several educational programs throughout the day. Look for locations, times and topics on tickets available at: Lincoln Memorial Garden, Wild Birds Unlimited, Ace Hardware, Noonan TrueValue Hardware and at the Illinois Extension offices in Springfield and Petersburg.
