Annual gathering is Sept. 29

If you want to savor farm-to-table small plates prepared by local chefs and lend your support for developing a sustainable local food system, partake in the upcoming Harvest Celebration.
The Illinois Stewardship Alliance 12th Annual Harvest Celebration is Sept. 29 at Erin's Pavilion at Southwind Park.
Eight local chefs will prepare delectable small plates using local foods that rely on pollinators to grow. The eight chefs are Justin Cooper of Cooper's StrEATside Bistro, Corey Faucon of Long 9 Junction, James Hamilton of Taco logy 101, Michael Higgins of Maldaner's, Stu Hummel of Epiphany Farms, Keith Loukinen of Loukinen's on 41h, Ashley Meyer of Custom Cup Coffee and Denise Perry of Copper Pot Cooking Studio. Signature cocktails will also be featured, along with a live and silent auction. - Karen Witter
