On Friday, May 11, don’t miss the FatAss 5K Craft Beer and Cigar Festival, located on Seventh Street between Celtic Mist and the President Abraham Lincoln Springfield - a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. The festival, a precursor to Saturday’s FatAss 5K and Street Party for Charity, features food and drinks for purchase from food trucks and beer vendors, plus live music and more. The food trucks and beer vendors will begin serving at 5 p.m., with live music by Off the Wall from 5-6:30 p.m., After Sunset from 7:15-8:45 p.m., and The Shenanigans from 9:30-11 p.m. Additionally, a hog wing eating contest will take place at 9 p.m., and packet pickup for the Fat Ass 5K will be available starting at 5 p.m. This event is free to the public.
