Children ages 4 and up are invited to learn the ways of the Jedi on Saturday, Mar. 3 with Master Jedi Panniken Moonjumper, played by family entertainer and Pirate School creator David Engel. During a training session with the Master Jedi, young Jedi will enjoy comic antics, exciting physical challenges, magical mayhem, lightsaber lessons, a visit with Chewbacca, and, most importantly, gain the courage and vision to combat the most sinister Dark Force: youth bullying. Emphasis will be placed on developing skills such as the power of observation, the strength of character, and mind, body and personal courage. Says Scott Richardson, director of the Legacy Theatre, “Our audiences loved Pirate School, and we loved the way David’s silly, gentle spirit connects with our young audiences. His work incites curiosity, empathy and empowers our increasingly distractible youth.” Tickets to Jedi Academy cost $20 in advance, and can be purchased for $25 the day of the show. More information about Jedi Academy and the Legacy Theatre can be found online at http://atthelegacy.com or by calling 800-838-3006.
