Hailing from the great city of Champaign, home of the University of Illinois, this group of fun-loving music makers really do “almost totally 80s music” as their promo states, and has been hard at it for some 18 years and counting. They also put on one heck of a show, recreating characters from the era to match the music made, using instrumentation and costumes to make the 80s come alive. Popular as a wedding band and for other private functions, the band last played Springfield for Illinois Times’ “Best of Springfield” party on Oct. 26. All done for your entertainment pleasure, expect songs from the likes of “Alex in Chains” and “Brendan Goes to Hollywood” and “Lynn D. Lauper” joined by such dudes as “Josh of Seagulls,” “Diamond Dave,” “Jesse Van Halen” and “Joe Bon Joey.” As the names suggest, there’s a lot of good times going into this outfit, so check out all the fun and relive those dandy days of yore.
