On Saturday, Oct. 7, from 11 a.m. through 4 p.m., join Rolling Meadows Farm Brewery for an event in support of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum Foundation. In addition to offering delicious Rolling Meadows brews, food for purchase from Coopers StrEATside Bistro and live music by Casey Cantrall and Lowder and Manning, the “Historic Visit to Rolling Meadows Farm” will provide attendees with the opportunity to take walking tours, led by historians and storytellers, of the RMFB facility and other historic areas of the Rolling Meadows property, including an exclusive overlook upon the site of Sangamo Town, where Abraham Lincoln built a flatboat bound for New Orleans in 1831. Additionally, RMFB will release 500 limited edition bottles of a historic brew recipe dating back to 1831.
