This October, Hoogland Productions presents six performances of Time Stands Still, the Tony-nominated play written by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Donald Margulies. The fictional love story focuses on Sarah Goodwin, a photojournalist, and her partner, James Dodd, a freelance reporter, as they attempt to make sense of a world seemingly gone mad. When Sarah is injured by a roadside bomb while covering a conflict in Iraq, she returns home to the Brooklyn loft she and James share. The pair attempt to regain domestic rhythms while simultaneously processing the horrors the duo has witnessed as well as the responsibilities and ethics of journalists covering mass atrocities. Time Stands Still is directed by Phil Funkenbusch and features an all-star cast, including Mary Young, Johnny Molson, Anna McFarland and Harvey Mack. Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for students and seniors.
