See the “other” side of fairy tales this weekend during Fairy Tale Courtroom, an interactive comedy written by Dana Proulx, directed by Erin Sullivan and presented by M.A.S.S. Media Productions, a nonprofit community theater organization. During this family-friendly performance, the Big Bad Wolf and the Wicked Witch, who have been busy traveling from fairy tale to fairy tale wreaking havoc and preventing other fairy-tale characters from living happily ever after, will be put on trial, while the audience acts as their jury. Characters such as Snow White, Dorothy, Sleeping Beauty, the Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood and others will testify against the Wolf and the Witch, sharing their personal stories and flashback sequences from popular fairy tales. Fairy Tale Courtroom show times are 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The Saturday matinee will be a sensory-free performance.
